Acceptance Management

A process to be used throughout the project to obtain approval from an authorized Customer Decision Maker for work done on the project to date. This process is defined and included in the Project Plan.
The approval at each stage means that the deliverable(s) for that stage are completed to the satisfaction of the Customer. In order for a deliverable to be considered “complete” and “acceptable”, it is measured against pre-determined acceptance criteria.
